Crostyx Achieves Club First Accreditation

Welcome everyone to the 2009-10 season in this 90^th anniversary year for Crostyx HC. We are fortunate in belonging to one of the best appointed sports clubs in the East and I hope you will all extend a warm welcome to our opposite teams, their supporters, and the umpires and make their visits memorable ones (for all the right reasons).

If you are new members to Crostyx please make full use of the sports and social facilities on offer and I hope your stay with Crostyx will be enjoyable.

We have raised the bar in recent years with back to back promotions so please keep this momentum going and support your captains in their endeavours, and off the field the social events that we will be running.

The junior hockey programme has made great strides over the last year and we need to maintain this impetus. Please support all those involved, and lend a hand at training if you can, and remember the £1 for the juniors when you buy a drink at the bar.

Your committee will be working hard to ensure the smooth running of the club and has recently appointed Lisa D to monitor any indiscretions on the pitch. She’s eager to exercise her new powers so hopefully we can keep her on tenterhooks (her preferred choice) until at least December.
