Instructions for Top Trumps
Print the pages out
Glue it to thin cardboard (an empty breakfast cereal box is ideal)
Cut your new Top Trumps out (adult supervision is recommended, unless you own a pair of safety scissors.
You are now ready to start playing Top Trumps with your friends!!
To play the game:
In pairs , divide one set of cards up so that you have an equal number of cards
Toss a coin to choose who goes first.
The first player chooses a category which they think will score higher than their opponent. If they make a correct choice they win the other persons card and the other person the looser must DRINK!
Play until one player has won all of the cards or until the looser is drunk unconscious
To make the game more difficult and to improve the level of revision you can ask the winner to provide evidence to support their facts e.g. give a reason to explain why Spacky Hand's Alcohol Consumption is an 8. The winner could then respond with:-Of course she is an 8 she can drink more than her husband!
